[This video post is brought to you by a very bored Tensai Jr. Why is this Ivysaur bored, you might ask?

Because his trainer is sleeping.

Out on the tennis court.

Next to a big, pink slowpoke, who is just staring ~~right into your soul~~ somewhere off-screen.

Yep. right by the net, a certain Marui Bunta is using Jackal's Sobesa as a pillow. There's a tennis racket next to them, and a few balls lying around. The towel and empty water bottle in Marui's hand indicates he was practicing some time ago and is now catching some z's in the sun, leaving his Ivysaur free to do whatever he wants with his stuff. Which is probably why he's filming this for the whole of Johto to see.]

Veeeeeeeee.

[Tensai Jr. moves closer to his trainer and Sobesa, picking the racket up with one of his vines, probably wanting to test out this tennis thing since Marui seems to be so into that kind of thing. He swings the racket back and forth and this is all you get for a couple more minutes.

But then something happens! Sobesa moves her head, as if following something. Something invisible maybe? Perhaps, but there is a sudden wailing noise loud enough to wake Marui up with a start. And then there's that wailing noise again, it sounds something like this:]

MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH

[Yep, that's a Munchlax distress wail. Tensai Jr. moves the gear toward the direction of the sound, and there is, in the distance, a Puchi in a pear tree. And a classy Espeon at the base of the tree, watching the Munchlax hanging onto a branch with satisfaction. He's been eating all the apples in the House, she had to do something about it, right?]

What the hell--?!

[And now you see Marui running toward that tree. This is where Tensai Jr. decides to stop the video, but anyone at the Tennis House can witness Marui climbing up that tree to get his poor starter down, and yelling at Lady to get them both down because guess who's keeping the two of them up there?]

[trying to maneuver getting on the ladder here, with a 200-plus pound Munchlax hanging on to him for dear life. strength training, or something. nnngh.]

Put her on a leash, or something.

[He'd offer a Ditto for assistance with that Munchlax, but Marui's probably already had more than enough intervention from Yagyuu's Pokemon for the day.

Lady, meanwhile, is alternating between snuggling with her beloved and glaring at that Munchlax. She knows what you did, Munchlax. You're lucky her true love said to leave you alone. This time.]

Is it possible he threw something at her? Or something that she might've taken as an invitation to battle?

Dunno. Don't think so-- [hold on, he's trying not to collapse on the ladder under the weight of a Munchlax on his back flkajsdflkj this is harder than it looks really.]

He doesn't throw things at Pokemon unless I tell him to. Or if he's already in battle. Maybe she's just really pissy this time of month?

[OH GOD FINALLY, THE GROUND he can put Puchi down now except why won't he stop clinging]

It's just-- really not like him to-- Puchi, you're safe now, stop that! --throw things at Lady for no reason at all.

[You know what, he ran thirty laps with a Geodude on his back, he can sympathize with how damn heavy some of these things actually are.]

It's entirely possible. I wouldn't say it's necessarily unlike her to instigate a confrontation, regardless of the...time of month, but it's also not like her to do so needlessly.

[He glances down at the Espeon in his arms, trying to decide if he's really at the point where he's willing to address her directly, rather than just giving commands. It's a difficult call.]

What has gotten into you, Lady?

[S-sob, strength training...]

Whatever it is, she didn't have to chase Puchi up a tree. [Not sure who he should direct his pouty-face at: Yagyuu, Lady or Puchi...? Or all three. Yes. That would work.]

[The trouble with dividing your attention like that is that it diminishes the strength of the expression. Also, Lady's busy glaring at Puchi, so she's twice as unfazed.]

I agree. She might've just as easily chased him into the house.

Why chase him at all, jeez.

[he manages to stop Puchi from throwing something at Lady again.]

[And Lady promptly takes that as her cue to wriggle up and out of Yagyuu's arms, aiming a quick attack at Puchi in an attempt to get him to drop any of the contraband apples he may be hiding on his person.

She's just doing her job, okay. She's defending the apples. From the apple thief.]

[Sadly, Puchi isn't fast enough to evade that and he falls over. And look, are those apples rolling from his fuzzy skirt...? Some of them have been bitten into. Puchi scrambles to get them back to where he's hiding them apples.]

[Meanwhile, Marui will just facepalm where he's standing. Just. Nnnnnnngh.]

[And that's Lady's cue to come trotting back, smug as hell and flicking her tail in disdain.

Meanwhile, Yagyuu's eyebrows have gone up at this new revelation.]

...Ah. It appears Lady discovered where our apples have been disappearing to.

Yeah, I... Sorry, I should have disciplined him more.

[Marui looks so terribly disappointed at Puchi. And he will now punish him by grabbing him in a headlock and giving him a noogie.]

You little thief you!
