--gotten the Zephyr badge and Jackal and I are making our way through Union Cave soon to get to Azalea for my next badge. We'll be back in Goldenrod soon, Yukimura-kun! Tell Sanada we're working hard and keeping up with our training.

[he finishes this message and hits the send button. after this, he records another video message.]

Hey Sisuca! Look, I got my first badge! [he brings the badge up with his free hand to show her.] I've got a long way to go to catch up to you, but I'll definitely make it! Let's have cake to celebrate, okay?

[now that this message is done, he'll send it to sisuca--]

[marui frowns. that's... not supposed to happen. so he tries to send it again.]

[and again. this time, he accidentally broadcasts his recorded video to the whole network too.]

[shit. marui looks worried. and very sad. he takes a deep breath, eyes closed and pinches the bridge of his nose-- boys don't cry after all.]

[the video feed ends there, but anyone at the inn would find a redhead sitting at the lobby, holding a munchlax like a teddy bear, with his 'Gear on the other side of the couch, just staring off into space.]
